Alstom: to deliver twelve 100% electric buses for Toulon
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces an order for twelve 100%-electric Aptis buses to the metropolitan area of Toulon Provence Méditerranée.
The first deliveries of these 12-metre, 3-door buses are set to start at the end of 2019.
The vehicles ordered by Toulon are designed for slow-charging overnight at the depot. Aptis is also available for occasional recharging at the end of each line, using ground-based charging solutions (SRS) or charging via pantograph.
Aptis has already been selected by Strasbourg transport operator CTS, RATP and Ile-de-France Mobilités, as well as by Greater Grenoble and Greater La Rochelle.
