Alstom: awards Mersen contract for Aptis bus
(CercleFinance.com) - Mersen announces that it has been selected to equip Alstom's new 100% electric bus called “Aptis,” which primarily targets the European market and will represent a potential 7000 units per year until 2025.
The group of electrical specialties and advanced materials is currently the supplier that has been selected for cold-rolled busbars which ensure connection within the power converters that equip vehicles.
This success results from over 20 years' collaboration with Alstom's development teams, which has also earned Mersen the status of Trusted Supplier by Alstom for its Pontarlier (Doubs) business, the group added.
