Alstom: wins order worth over E100m
(CercleFinance.com) - The Alstom group announces that it will provide Ile-de-France Mobilités and the Société du Grand Paris with 23 metros of 3 wagons for lines 16 and 17 of the Grand Paris Express.
The group says that this order is worth over 100 million euros. It is part of a contract signed in September 2018, of which it constitutes une levée d'option.
Six of Alstom's French sites will design and manufacture these new materials. The site of Valenciennes Petite-Forêt is responsible for the project's management, research, development, production, and train assembly and validation. Five of Alstom's other sites in France will develop and produce components, the group said.
