Alstom: H1 earnings up sharply
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom today publishes H1 2018-19 net income, group share of 563 million euros, compared to 177 million euros last year, with an adjusted operating margin of 7.

Alstom's revenues increased by 20% (+23% in organic terms) to 4 billion euros, with dynamic commercial momentum, with seven billion euros of orders leading to a record order backlog of 38 billion euros.
For fiscal year 2018-19, revenues are expected to reach around 8 billion euros, with an adjusted operating margin that is expected to reach around 7%, according to Alstom's outlook established at a constant consolidation scope and exchange rates.
