Alstom: presents citadis X05 from Caen la Mer
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has presented the first Citadis X05 tramway trainset that will run on all the three new lines of the urban community of Caen la mer.
23 trams were ordered in November 2016 by the urban community of Caen la mer. The first deliveries will begin in October 2018, for commissioning scheduled for September 2019.
33 metres long and equipped with 6 double doors on each side, the Citadis X05 of Caen la mer will be able to carry over 210 passengers. Eight out of Alstom's twelve sites in France are involved in the manufacturing.
