Alstom: wins contract in Argentina
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom reported on Tuesday that it has signed a contract worth over 16 million euros to upgrade the signalling system of the Ciudad Universitaria, Aristóbulo del Valle, Munro, Boulogne-sur-Mer and Grand Bourg stations on the Belgrano Norte suburban line in Buenos Aires (Argentina).
This work is part of the revamping of 22 stations of the line, a project in which Trenes Argentinos Infraestructura (Railway Infrastructure of Argentina) is investing nearly 87 million euros in all, under the auspices of the Argentine Ministry of Transport.
Having been present in Argentina since 1993, Alstom will supply, install, test and commission relay stations, switching between tracks, signals, local and remote control stations, track circuits and power supply systems.
