Alstom: wins contract in Germany
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Thursday Alstom announced that it has won two orders for the supply of 25 Coradia Lint regional trains for Southern Germany.
DB Regio Bayern has ordered 20 trains (12 Coradia Lint 54, with a capacity of 150 passengers and eight Coradia Lint 41, with a capacity of 125 passengers), for a total of 93 million euros, while Hohenzolleri Landesbahn AG (HzL) has ordered another five trains for 23 million euros.
The five Coradia Lint 54 trains ordered by HzL network Bodenseegurtelbahn in Baden-Württemberg are identical to those ordered by HzL last year for the "Ulmer Stern" network. They will be delivered with the main fleet in June 2019.
