Alstom: contract for 30 locomotives in Morocco
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has won a contract to supply 30 electric locomotives to the Moroccan rail operator ONCF.
The contract is worth about 130 million euros.
The Prima M4 locomotives, which can travel up to 160 km/h, will be built at the Belfort factory, with their maintenance then provided by Alstom on site.
Alstom said that over 3,000 locomotives of the Prima range have been sold over the past 20 years.
