Alstom: contract for São Paolo metro
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom will be responsible for changing the signalling and control system of line 9 of CPTM (Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos) in São Paulo.
Under this contract, which is worth almost 11 million euros, Alstom will adapt the TCS (traffic control system) of the Grajaú area) and the CSC (centralized control system of Brás), enabling the line to be extended to Varginha.
The project includes the system's engineering, the provision of equipment, changes in software, along with commissioning and technical support, all of which is intended to modernise and enhance the safety and operational control of this CPTM line.
