Alstom: 10 more Citadis trams for Bordeaux
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has announced the delivery of another 10 Citadis trams to the town of Bordeaux for a total of almost 30 million euros.
26 trams were put in circulation in 2013 and 2014. An option of 15 addition trams is currently being manufactured at Alstom's factory at La Rochelle.
These new 44-meter long trams are identical to those of previous orders and are intended to strengthen the multi-line transport offer of the city of Bordeaux from 2019.
Bordeaux will now have one of the largest fleets of trams in France, with its first order dating back to 2000.
