Alstom: wins contract in Singapore.
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday morning Alstom reported that it has signed a contract with Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) to provide the signaling system for the sixth and final phase of the Circle Line (CCL).
This project includes both the supply of the "Urbalis" driverless signaling system for new trains and locomotives of the existing line, the upgrading of the automatic train supervision (ATS) system and the creation of new railway sidings in the Kim Chuan depot, which will almost double its capacity.
