Alstom: wins big contract in Sweden.
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Wednesday Alstom announced winning an eight-year contract with Arriva for the maintenance of Skånetrafiken's 99 Alstom Coradia Nordic regional trains, also known as Pågatågen.
The contract is worth approximately 135 million euros. Maintenance operations are due to start in December 2018.
Arriva has won a contract for the operation of trains and Alstom was part of the bid as a maintenance solutions provider. The French group will be responsible for all maintenance operations, with the exception of cleaning.
