Engie: raises annual targets
(CercleFinance.com) - Engie has raised its annual targets, now expecting 2022 recurrent net profit of 3.

The energy group reported Q1 EBIT that is up 74% at 3.5 billion euros, with EBITDA that is up 49% to 4.6 billion euros, with sales jumping 85% to 25.6 billion euros, in exceptional market conditions.
The European gas market has been heavily impacted by the war in Ukraine, which has resulted in an exceptional level of volatility and very high prices, Engie said, which also points to a continuing risk of supply disruption from Russia.
