Engie: 4 new power plant projects in pipeline in Belgium
(CercleFinance.com) - Engie has four major projects for new power plants in Belgium, says L'Echo.
These four gas-steam power plants (CCGT or Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) would together represent a capacity of 2,950 megawatts (MW), equivalent to the four nuclear power plants at Doel, L'Echo said.
These projects would enable the group, which is going to close both its Belgian nuclear power plants, to maintain its market share in the country, Aurel BGC says.
