Engie: is board critical about CEO?
(CercleFinance.com) - According to BFM Business, the mandate of Engie's current CEO, Isabelle Kocher, may not be renewed when it expires in May 2020.
For the past month, its board of directors, which is chaired by Jean-Pierre Clamadieu (which includes Safran's chairman, Ross McInnes and Airbus' former boss, Fabrice Brégier) has scrutinized Isabelle Kocher's strategy. Some board members appear to be "very critical" regarding the group transformation that she has led, BFM Business reports.
It seems that she is first blamed for managerial and strategic issues. Engie will hold another board meeting on 17 December, which could prove to be "decisive".
