Engie: presents future HQ in partnership with Nexity
(CercleFinance.com) - In partnership with Nexity, Engie Group has presented its future headquarters, an eco-site of 136,000 m2, which is to be delivered in 2023.
"Located right in the heart of La Garenne-Colombes (Paris suburbs), 700 m from the current head office... it will group together a large number of employees from Île-de-France on one site, promoting cooperation, cross-functional working, and open-mindedness," Engie said.
The energy mix to supply the site will combine geothermal energy (optimised to cover between 70% and 90% of the site's requirements), photo-voltaic panels, bio-methane boilers, electricity storage, a smartgrid and blockchain.
The cornerstone of this future site, at which will 9,000 employees and partners will work, will be laid in 2020.
