Engie: new deputy CEO
(CercleFinance.com) - Engie announces the appointment of Claire Waysand as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Group Company Secretary as 1 October, replacing Pierre Mongin.
After previously held a number of senior positions in the French Treasury, and having been the first woman to head the French cabinet des finances, since 2016, Claire Waysand has been inspector-general of finance, while teaching at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (Sciences Po) and was formerly a director of Radio France.
In 2009, Claire Waysand joined the International Monetary Fund in Washington as Deputy Director of the Europe Department and then the Strategy, Policy and Evaluation Department.
