Engie: 9m underlying operating profit flat
(CercleFinance.com) - Engie has published 9m 2018 underlying operating profit of 3.
5 billion euros, stable as reported, with organic growth of 7.7%, while EBITDA was 6.5 billion euros, down slightly (-0.3%) as reported, and up 5% in organic terms.
Sales came in at 43 billion euros, up +0.4% on a reported basis and up 1% in organic terms, with the increase in electricity production of renewable origin in France and Brazil, and the introduction of regulations regarding gas storage in France.
Engie confirms its 2018 targets, including recurring net income, group share of between 2.45 billion and 2.65 billion euros, expected at the bottom of the range, for EBITDA that is slightly below the initial range of 9.3 billion to 9.7 billion euros provided in March.
