Engie: Q1 EBITDA up 3%
(CercleFinance.com) - Engie has published Q1 2018 underlying operating income that is up 3.
1% at 2.2 billion euros, Ebitda that is up 3% at 3.2 billion euros and revenues that increased 1.2% to 17.5 billion euros (+3% in organic terms).
This increase in revenues is mainly due to the sharp rise in the production of renewable electricity in France and Belgium, as well as the increase in gas and electricity sales to private individuals in France.
Engie has confirmed its financial targets for 2018, including a recurrent net income, group share of between 2.45 billion euros and 2.65 billion euros, based on an indicative Ebitda range of 9.3 billion to 9.7 billion euros.
