Engie: acquires SPIE Maroc
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Thursday Engie announced the takeover of SPIE's Moroccan subsidiary.
An agreement to this effect was signed yesterday between the energy company and SPIE.
SPIE Maroc currently employs over 1,000 people and last year reported turnover of around 70 million euros.
By integrating the skills, teams and businesses of SPIE Maroc, Engie will become the leader in energy services in Morocco and hence takes a big step in its aim of becoming a major provider of integrated energy services in Africa.
