Engie: wins contract in the UK.
(CercleFinance.com) - A joint venture between by EDP Renováveis (EDPR, 77%) and Engie (23%), Moray Offshore Windfarm (East) Ltd has just won a 15-year contract for the supply of 950 megawatts (MW) of offshore wind power, at a price of 57.
50 pounds per MWh.
This contract was awarded by the British Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Industrial Strategy. It covers a marine wind farm on the northeast coast of Scotland.
The construction work will begin after the selection of all partners and suppliers which are necessary for the construction and operation of the park. Its completion and commercial commissioning are scheduled for 2022.
