Engie: accounts improving and targets confirmed.
(CercleFinance.com) - The adjustment of Engie's accounts continued on into the first half-year, and the group even declares that it is “ahead” of its strategic plan horizon 2018.
This allows the company to refine its 2017 forecasts for recurring net profit, now expected to come towards the middle of the range previously communicated.
The energy company ended the first half of its 2017 fiscal year with sales of 33.1 billion euros, representing organic growth of 2.6% (in Q1: +3.1%) or +1.6% in terms of published figures. EBITDA is progressing a little more quickly: +4% to five billion euros, and the group share of recurring net profit goes up 15.5% to 1.5 billion.
