Bureau Veritas: 2020 targets suspended
(CercleFinance.com) - In line with its initial response to the epidemic, the certification and inspection services group Bureau Veritas says that "the 2020 targets are no longer relevant" and that "It is still too early to revise them at this stage".
However, it says that it benefits from "a very strong financial position and sufficient liquidity and financial resources". At the end of 2019, it had free cash of 1.4 billion euros and undrawn credit lines of 600 million euros.
Bureau Veritas has taken measures to control its costs and cash, which include the suspension of all non-core investments and the implementation of an austerity plan worldwide.
