Bureau Veritas: acquisition in Spain
(CercleFinance.com) - Bureau Veritas is continuing with its dynamic acquisitions policy, having announced after trading on Thursday that it had taken a majority stake in Lubrication Management SL (formerly the industrial oil analysis division of IK4-TEKNIKER), a European leader in the analysis of lubricating oils.
Located near Bilbao (Spain), this laboratory will become Bureau Veritas' main European testing centre of the global network of lubricant testing laboratories.
Established in 1981, IK4-TEKNIKER has earned itself a worldwide reputation in industrial markets for lubricant services. The "Lubrication Management" division employs 26 people and generated turnover of around 4 million euros last year.
