Bourbon: makes big loss in 2017
(CercleFinance.com) - Bourbon has published a net loss, group share of 576.
3 million euros for 2017, which it said reflects the effect of the crisis in the sector, its impact on asset values and risks in the recoverability of certain claims.
Adjusted EBITDAR fell 34.1% to 252.4 million euros, meaning a margin that is down 5.4 points at 29.3% on adjusted sales that are down 21.9% at 860.6 million euros, with a lower usage rate of its fleet that is in stable operation and a fall in its average daily prices.
Bourbon's Board of Directors has decided that it will not pay a dividend this year. The maritime services group estimates that performance expected for 2018 should be similar to that in 2017 in terms of revenues.
