Tarkett: share up after targets unveiled for 2022
(CercleFinance.com) - At its CMD in Paris, Tarkett presented its 2022 strategic program called "Change to Win".
In essence, the focus will be on growth and improving profitability. Up by over 2% in Paris, this morning the Tarkett share is one of the sharpest risers in the SBF 120.
In particular, the group targets sustainable growth, driven by an increased focus on a selection of promising commercial market segments, the development of a global offer in hotels and a continued expansion of its Sports activities. Tarkett also intends to strengthen in offer in digital distribution channels. Thus, in the main regions where it operates (North America, Europe and CIS), by 2022 Tarkett aims to reach organic sales growth that exceeds GDP growth.
The flooring specialist also announces savings of 120 million euros between 2019 and 2022 and a policy of selective capital allocation. As such, its adjusted EBITDA margin, which was 8.8% in 2018, should exceed 12% in 2022.
