Amundi: cancels proposed dividend
(CercleFinance.com) - In accordance with the ECB's recommendations, Amundi has announced that it will propose to its board of directors not to submit to the AGM of 12 May the payment of a 3.
10 euro dividend per share for FY 2019.
In the second half of 2020, the board will propose guidelines on dividend payments to shareholders, which could include the payment of a dividend advance on 2020 results or an exceptional dividend payment.
Amundi points out that it has a strong capital position, with a CET 1 ratio of 15.9% at the end of 2019. The appropriation to reserves ratio of all 2019 earnings will have a positive impact of over 500 basis points on this ratio, thereby bringing it to over 20%.
