Amundi: EU authorises acquisition of Cloud Snurran
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of Cloud Snurran in Sweden by Red Rock Power in the UK, CapMan in Finland and NH-Amundi Asset Management (NH-Amundi) in South Korea.
Cloud Snurran develops and operates an onshore wind farm in Sweden. Red Rock Power is an investment company in the European wind farm sector and an indirect subsidiary of SDIC Power Holdings Co Ltd of China. CapMan is a specialised investment and asset management company, meanwhile, NH-Amundi is an asset management company.
The Commission concluded that the deal would not pose any competition issues, given the limited overlap between the companies' businesses.
