Amundi: joint venture in China approved
(CercleFinance.com) - Amundi announces that it has received, with BOC Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Bank of China, approval from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission to create a joint venture in asset management, which is planned to be launched in the second half of 2020.
The joint venture will build on Amundi's investment capabilities, Amundi's international services and expertise, and will leverage the strengths of BOC WM and its brand, distribution channels, coupled with the experience of Bank of China.
This long-term partnership will add another pillar to Amundi's development strategy in China, and benefit from strong commercial relationships with one of China's leading banks, it said.
