Iliad: in partnership talks with IfraVia
(CercleFinance.com) - Iliad says it has entered into exclusive negotiations with InfraVia (French infrastructure fund) to establish a partnership to accelerate the rollout of fiber optics (FTTH) outside densely populated areas in France.
To this end, Free's parent company has created a special entity to actively manage fiber lines, which will notably ensure the acquisition and operation of the group's FTTH co-financing packages in areas concerned (around 26 million lines).
Free would transfer the existing co-financing agreements to this company and approximately one million existing co-financed sockets. Iliad will sell 51% of this entity to InfraVia, based on an enterprise value of approximately 600 million euros.
