Iliad: partnership with Nokia for 5G
(CercleFinance.com) - Iliad has announced a strategic agreement with Nokia, its partner since 2010 for the deployment of its 3G/4G mobile networks, for the deployment of its 5G network in France and Italy, to begin in 2020.
The parent company of Free explains that this deployment will, in line with its ambition, bring, "the best mobile connectivity to the nearly 17 million mobile subscribers" which Iliad has in both countries.
"5G will enable Iliad to connect more customers, support the exponential growth of usages, and meet the needs of companies following the launch of its B2B operations in France in the near future," Iliad added.
