Iliad: wins French L1 football broadcasting rights
(CercleFinance.com) - Iliad has announced winning the broadcasting rights of Batch 6 of the call to tender for the seasons 2020/2021 to 2023/2024 for the French Football Ligue 1 that was launched by the Professional Football League, for a price of under 50 million euros per season.
Thanks to Batch 6, Iliad is the only platform to date to have (almost-direct) broadcasting rights for the entire League 1 matches, the operator pointed out, which intends to develop innovative and personalised services in partnership with the LFP.
For each day of Ligue 1, Iliad will offer in almost live on its fixed and mobile platforms the goals, the best saves and highlights of each game, as well as a summary at the end of each match day.
