Orpea: 2019 sales up 9.4%
(CercleFinance.com) - Nursing and care home operator Orpea has reported FY 2019 sales of 3,740 million euros, up 9.
4% (+320 million euros).
This figure beats the group's target of 3,700 million euros target announced initially.
In 2020, Orpea will add another 3,000 beds, in about another 30 homes and extensions. 85% of this expansion will be international, in a dozen countries, in affluent areas.
Orpea is confident that it will report FY 2020 guaranteed sales of 4,040 million euros (+8% y-o-y).
It will continue to develop growth sources and study acquisitions in countries that are already operational, as well as new countries with a view to continuing its growth momentum.
