Orpea: 2018 revenues above target
(CercleFinance.com) - Revenues amounted to 3,420 million euros in 2018, up 9%.
The group recorded a figure higher than the target announced in early 2018. The increase in sales reached nearly 300 million euros, of which more than half was thanks to organic growth.
Driven by this solid growth, management confirms its target for a 2018 EBITDA margin higher than that in 2017.
The group now expects guaranteed sales of 3,700 million euros (+8.2%) in 2019, thanks to solid organic growth and the contribution made by acquisitions
Over the year, Orpea will again open nearly 2,500 beds (representing 25 facilities and extensions), 85% of which are abroad in 10 different countries.
In January 2019, the Orpea network includes 96,577 beds spread over 950 establishments in 14 countries. The share of beds outside France has almost tripled in 5 years, now representing 65% of the total network.
