Orange: builds city of future in Egypt with Nokia
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that its OSS/BSS software solutions have been selected by Orange and the Egyptian government-owned Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) to provide a wide range of services for the city of New Administrative Capital.
Nokia's products will be used to enable customers to order, activate and pay for utilities and data center services.
The deployment is expected to be completed in early 2023.
ACUD is a new smart city being developed about 60 km from Cairo. The city is expected to have up to seven million residents over the next ten years.
