Orange: board reshuffle

(CercleFinance.com) - Christel Heydemann, Orange's new CEO, announced on Tuesday that she has decided to change part of her management team in order to accelerate the development of two key markets - B2B and the Africa and Middle East zone.

Following the departure of Helmut Reisinger in January, Aliette Mousnier-Lompré has been appointed CEO of Orange Business Services, the telecoms operator's business services division.

In another change, Jérôme Hénique will become CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa (OMEA), replacing Alioune Ndiaye, who will remain non-executive chair.

Hénique was previously COO and deputy CEO of the group's subsidiary in charge of its 18-country presence in Africa and the Middle East.

The changes announced today reflect the priorities in the coming months, Ms Heydemann said, who considers "B2B" and Africa/Middle East as two "key markets" for Orange.
