Orange: takes majority stake in TKR
(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has announced taking a majority stake in the fixed telephony operator Telekom Romania Communications (TKR).
The agreement has been signed to enable Orange Romania to acquire a majority stake of 54% in one of the main fixed telephony operators in the country. The Romanian state will keep the remaining 46%.
Its enterprise value amounts to 497 million euros, based on 100% of the value of Telekom Romania Communications and its convergent subscriber base. It represents an equity value of 296 million euros.
