Orange: BlackRock increases stake above 5%
(CercleFinance.com) - BlackRock, acting on behalf of its clients and funds under its management, has informed the AMF that on 20 August it raised its stake in Orange's capital, with it now holding 5.
14% of the telecom operator's capital and 4.41% of its voting rights.
The US asset managent giant says that this threshold has been crossed due to the purchase of Orange shares - both on the market and OTC - along with an increase in the number of shares held as collateral.
