Orange: H1 earnings down 11%
(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has reported H1 2020 net income that is down 10.
7% at 1,016 million euros, with EBITDA that is down 0.7% at 5,914 million euros, on revenues that inched up 1% to nearly 20.8 billion euros (+0.3% on a comparable basis).
"These resilient results stem from the Group's strategy focused on greater connectivity and new growth areas, enabling us to increase our customer bases," the French incumbent telecoms operator said.
For 2020, Orange confirms that it does not expect any significant deviation from its financial targets. It now anticipates a slight decline in EBITDA (around -1%) over the year, including all the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
