Orange: invests in fintech Aire
(CercleFinance.com) - Orange Digital Ventures announces that it is joining a 11 million dollar Series B round in the fintech company Aire, which will help it invest more in its credit analysis engine and its expansion in the United States.
With almost 40 employees, Aire has developed an algorithmic model to assess the risk associated with consumer credits in different categories, "to make credit fairer for consumers and more valuable to lenders".
The start-up's solution meets some of Orange's strategic objectives, particularly in the field of mobile financial services, in which the telecoms operator has launched Orange Bank in Europe and Orange Money in Africa.
