Renault: signs supply contract with Terrafame
(CercleFinance.com) - Renault has signed a supply contract with the Finnish company Terrafame, one of the main producers of metals for the manufacture of batteries for electric vehicles.
The group has thus secured a significant supply of nickel sulphate, representing an annual capacity of around 15 GWh.
This agreement marks a new step towards reducing the environmental footprint of electric vehicles and the Group's objective of being net zero in Europe by 2040, Renault said.
