Renault: meeting tomorrow on group governance
(CercleFinance.com) - Renault's Board of Directors has said that it is meeting tomorrow morning to decide on the group's governance.
A statement will be made at the end of this meeting.
Jean-Dominique Senard is expected to propose a replacement for Thierry Bolloré as Renault's CEO, Le Figaro said.
This change at the top of Renault is backed by the French State, the paper adds.
The latest appointments at Nissan are not good news for Thierry Bolloré, Carlos Ghosn's former right-hand man, Aurel BGC points out.
Renault's CEO appears to have little contact with the Japanese side and appears to have tense relations with Jean-Dominique Senard. Bercy would also encourage Renault to turn the Ghosn page once and for all, Aurel BGC analysts add.
