Renault: Alpine A110 elected sports car of the year
(CercleFinance.com) - The magazine Echappement organizes the election of the best sports car of the year.
This year, 8 cars where shortlisted by the magazine.
The finalists went to Burgundy to compete during a day of circuit testing at the wheel. At the end of this day of testing, the Alpine A110 was elected the winner.
"The Alpine A110 was unanimously acclaimed by pilots, readers and the Echappement editorial team, always placing the car first among the 8 candidates," the group said.
"The 1955 units of the A110 Première Edition have all been produced and the last deliveries are in progress. The production of the A110 Pure and Légende has started at the Dieppe plant; they are now available for testing in the Alpine Centers," Renault added.
