Renault: agreement with Liaoning for LCVs in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Renault and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Limited, which formed a joint venture making light commercial vehicle (LCV) on 1 January, have announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement Chinese officials in Liaoning.
Renault said that "Liaoning Province is one of China's new automobile industrial hubs with over 120 auto & auto-parts manufacturers and is the largest provincial economy of Northeast China."
This agreement aims to further accelerate the growth of LCVs in China. Renault has also confirmed the project of three new electric LCVs within the joint venture's range for this country within two years.
