Renault: 9m sales up 6.5%
(CercleFinance.com) - Renault announces this Monday that over the first 9 months of 2018, its registrations of passenger cars and commercial vehicles rose by 6.
5% to 531,541 units, its best volume, the car maker says, for eight years.
Renault therefore boasts a market share of 26.6%, up 0.1 point.
Regarding passenger cars, in detail, Renault sold 428,768 vehicles at end-September (+7.5%). The Renault brand has achieved its best performance on this segment for seven years, while Dacia once again beat its previous sales record.
Meanwhile, Renault's commercial vehicle sales rose 3% over the first 9 months of the year, reaching 101,786 units.
