Renault: car registrations up 5.8% in H1

8% in the first half of 2018, reaching 389,221 units for the passenger cars (PC) and commercial vehicles (CV), with a market share of 27.2% in France.
PC sales rose, with the group's market share reaching 19.9% in the first half. It has achieved its best performance in terms of volumes for 7 years, while Dacia has beaten its sales record: the brand is now in 4th place in the market.
With over 70,000 units sold and 5.9% of the PC market, Clio has consolidated its leading position in the French market, for all sales channels combined.
The Twingo, whose sales rose by 27.2%, remains leader in the A segment, while Captur has confirmed its 5th place on the market and the Scénic and Twingo models round out the top 10.
