Renault: up sharply; new rumour regarding Nissan

According to the Bloomberg news agency, Renault and Nissan appear to be in talks to merge and create a new car maker that is listed as just a single share, while Renault is currently "listed" in Paris, and Nissan in Tokyo.
According to Bloomberg, this potential 'deal' would end current alliance between both companies, which, by marrying, would just form one. Carlos Ghosn is set to continue to lead the group.
For the record, Renault currently holds 43% of Nissan's share capital, while the Japanese group holds 15% of Renault.
Also remember that the French State holds 15% of Renault.
