Renault: 2017 net income up 47%

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault has reported net income of 5,210 million euros (+47.
1%) for 2017, including 4,189 million euros (+18.2%) excluding non-recurrent items for Nissan, with operating income of 3,806 million euros (+15.9%).

The group's operating margin amounts to 3,854 million euros and represents 6.6% of revenues that are up 14.7% at 58,770 million euros (+9.4% excluding the impact of the consolidation of Avtovaz). Registrations increased by 8.5% to 3.76 million vehicles.

A dividend of 3.55 euros per share, against 3.15 euros last year, will be proposed to shareholders. For 2018, Renault aims to increase its sales (at constant exchange rates and consolidation scope) and to maintain an operating margin of over 6%.
