(CercleFinance.com) - Renault has announced the preparation of the infrastructure for the autonomous and connected car of tomorrow with SCOOP.
SCOOP (Cooperative System) is a pilot scheme for the deployment in real traffic conditions of the connectivity of tomorrow between vehicles (V2V) and between vehicles and infrastructures (V2X).
The Group is investing in the SCOOP project in order to test new technologies on the Renault Mégane.
Launched in 2014, the European SCOOP project is actively entering its driving phase, particularly thanks to the fleet of 1,000 Renault Méganes produced at the Palencia plant in Spain.
