Renault: 9 month sales up 2.9%.
(CercleFinance.com) - The year 2017 is well underway for Renault - at least in terms of sales in France.
The car maker reported on Tuesday that it had sold 498,000 passenger cars (PC) and utility vehicles (UV) since 1 January, up 2.9% compared to the first 9 months of 2016. Furthermore, its market share in France has now reached 26.5%.
In PC, Renault has also achieved its best performance in terms of volumes for 6 years, while the low cost brand Dacia has broken a new record in terms of sales, having taken third place in the market for PC sold to individuals.
